The first official Secretary’s Day was celebrated in 1952. The creators hoped that it would serve to recognize the behind the scenes gears who run a well-oiled workplace. In 2000 Secretary’s Day became known as Administrative Professionals Day so just about anyone in an office, except the owner, could be lauded. Party!
Mirth in a Box came up with some great ideas to help celebrate this holiest of office days.
Gold Medal Bottle Opener: This heavy-duty medal has Winner emblazoned on the front and hangs from a red, white and blue ribbon. We would love to get one of these with a 2 pack of Sam Adams.. We almost sold out last week. More coming in shortly.
Emergency Affirmation Button: Is there someone in your office that needs a daily pat on the back? This is the perfect gift. Press the smiley face to hear, “You are Awesome” whenever necessary.
The Daily Mood: This is an essential desktop accessory for anyone who has a mood other than pleasant. An easy to understand emoticon announces the current mood. Truly LOL.
Workplace Jungle Flash Cards: Snarky and sassy sayings appropriate for any office with a sense of humor. We all love this gift. Keeps us laughing.
