Friday the Thirteenth: Calling All Phobias!

I had a smattering of both Ancient Greek and Modern Greek when I was in college. Most Friday the Thirteenthof what I learned has long been forgotten but I delighted that I remember the term for “fear of Friday the thirteenth”, paraskevidekatriaphobia.

Here are a few other unpronounceable phobias:

Triskadekaphobia fear of the number 13.

Ataxophobia– Fear of disorder or untidiness.

Bromidrosiphobia-Fear of body smells.

Entomophobia- Fear of insects.

Nebulaphobia- Fear of fog

Proctophobia- Fear of rectums

Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia: Fear of the number 666
