Mirth in a Box has asked some of its friends to tell us a about their favorite funny films. We then ask a random panel of ”experts” to analyze the person based on his or her choices. Oh boy. Here’s a list from a real sophisticate. Let’s see what our experts say about this movie fan. His favorite comedies are:
- Role Models
- Office Space
- National Lampoon’s Vacation
- A Christmas Story
What an interesting panel of experts today! We are delighted to welcome Mr. Potato Head, an Elvis Impersonator from Waterbury, CT and the Ghost of Paul Lynde-best known for his interminable stint as the center square on Hollywood squares. Let’s let Mr Lynde go first so he can go back to his plot.
The Ghost of Paul Lynde: Hey hey! It’s good to be back! Do female frogs croak? They do if you hold their heads under water long enough! Tee Hee!
Why do hell’s angels wear leather? Chiffon wrinkles too easily! Snort, snort!
But moving right along…..Why am I here? What do I think about this guy? Love to meet him in a dark movie theater!
Mr Potato Head: I’m warming up to this guy. I’ve kept my eyes peeled for some good new films to watch and I think I’ll rent “Borat” tonight. That should butter up my date.
Elvis Impersonator from Waterbury, CT: I think I died before any of these movies came out. My “Viva Las Vega” was pretty witty. Anybody have that on their list? Or King Creole? I think I’ll follow Mr Potato Head’s lead and rent a few of these. I could use a good laugh. Think I’ll like “Spaceballs”?
